Expired BLS, ACLS and PALS Provider Cards

Expired BLS, ACLS and PALS Provider Cards Due to current COVID-related staffing needs, Lee Health employees whose AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS cards expire in July, August and September 2021 will be permitted to work. Staff working under this policy exception (M09 01 095) will be expected to successfully recertify within the second quarter of FY22.

Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) has NOT suspended its BLS, ACLS and PALS program. All classes are taking place as scheduled and keeping with CDC and Lee Health safety guidelines. As staffing permits, employees are encouraged to register for and attend a scheduled AHA class in order to keep their required certifications current.
