Be sure that you have selected “Search Publications” above the search box and “Journals” below it. Then type in the name of the journal to find out if we have access to it. You can also search for the journal’s title alphabetically rather than typing it in the search box.
If we have access to the journal you are looking for, you can then search for the article. Look under the journal title and you’ll see information for the database link (in blue) and the issue dates for which we have access. If your date is within these parameters, click on the database link and it will take you to a page where you can search for the issue (by year and month) and article. Look under the article for a link that says “Full Text” or preferably “Full Text PDF” so that you can download the article.
If you do not have access to an article, we can request it for you through our interlibrary loan service. This is a free service, and most articles are sent to you within several days (many in a matter of hours). You can request articles through the chat service on our website or email us at medlibrary.leehealth.org. Please provide us with a complete citation if possible.
