Lee Health staff have 24/7 access to the Medical Libraries at Lee Memorial Hospital, Cape Coral Hospital, and HealthPark Medical Center by tapping their badge. The library at Gulf Coast Medical Center is located in the Medical Office Building and follows the hours of the building, which are 5:30 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday; Lee Health staff can access the library anytime during these hours with their badge.
Each of the Medical Libraries has a unique schedule in terms of when they are staffed; be sure to check the bottom of the library homepage (https://library.leehealth.org/) for current hours.
Need to check out a book when the library isn’t staffed? Simply fill out a “Book Check-out Form” which is available on the front desk at each library.
Can’t visit the Medical Library in person? The library provides access to online databases, eJournals, and eBooks, which are always available. If you are on-site, simply visit https://library.leehealth.org/. If you’d like remote access to library resources, apply for an OpenAthens account by visiting the library homepage, and clicking on “OpenAthens Registration” on the left side of the page.
